What My Client’s InBody Results Reveal About Sustainable Fat Loss for Wome

When a client makes progress over the holidays, when most people feel completely stuck!

This post is inspired by a real client win, but it’s really about a pattern I see constantly with women.

They’re trying.

They’re doing what they think they’re supposed to do.

And yet, they still feel stuck because the scale doesn’t seem to reflect their effort.

Why the Scale Alone Fails So Many Women

The scale measures total body weight. That’s it.

It doesn’t tell you:

  • How much body fat you’re losing

  • Whether you’re protecting lean muscle

  • What’s happening with visceral fat

  • If your habits are actually improving your health

For many women, relying on the scale alone leads to frustration, self-doubt, and burnout.

A Real Client Example

One of my clients, Thalia, has been overweight for most of her life. Like many women, she felt like she was constantly fighting her body. She wasn’t failing - she just didn’t have a clear system or the right way to measure progress.

Between December 18, 2025 and January 5, 2026, her InBody scans showed:

  • Over 4 pounds of body fat lost

  • A decrease in body fat percentage

  • Visceral fat trending down

  • Lean muscle mass maintained

The scale alone would not have shown this.

But body composition did.

What These Results Reveal About Sustainable Fat Loss

Sustainable fat loss for women is not about extremes.

It’s about:

  • Losing fat, not just weight

  • Preserving muscle to protect metabolism

  • Improving health markers like visceral fat

  • Using data to guide decisions instead of emotions

When progress is measured correctly, fat loss feels clearer and more motivating.

What Actually Works

What doesn’t work:

  • Eating as little as possible

  • Overtraining to “earn” food

  • Starting over every Monday

  • Obsessing over the scale

What does work:

  • Tracking body composition

  • Prioritizing protein and structure

  • Creating habits that fit into real life

  • Building systems that remove daily decision fatigue

This is how fat loss becomes sustainable instead of exhausting.

If You’re a Woman Who Feels Stuck

If you’ve always struggled with your weight…

If you feel like you’re doing everything right but not seeing results…

If you want fat loss that doesn’t require burning yourself out…

You’re not broken.

You need clarity, better metrics, and a plan that fits your life.

That’s exactly how I work with my clients.

If this resonates and you want to learn how I help women lose fat sustainably using data, systems, and support, you can reply to this post or DM me “INBODY” on Instagram.

Real progress starts when you stop guessing and start understanding your body.
